B.I.G. includes three UBC genomics programs – Bioinformatics, Interdisciplinary Oncology, and Genome Science and Technology. The goal of the annual B.I.G. Research day is to engage graduate students in facilitated discussions on big research issues, and the theme for this year is science communication.
We will part of an expert-led panel on career paths for graduates to speak about my career journey, particularly on reinventing oneself. I hope to inspire meaningful career transitions by revealing the lessons I have learned from disrupting academia.
